Pregnancy tea is a combination of nutritive herbs which will help improve your general health, boost your energy and improve uterine tone. The tea should be consumed regularly throughout your pregnancy.
15 parts Red Raspberry Leaves -- Tones the pelvic musles, including the uterus. Also contains Vitamins C, E, A & B Complex, and many minerals including phosphorus and potacium, calcium and iron.
5 parts Alfalfa -- a source of iron and Vitamin K (clotting factor)
3 parts Comfrey -- for cell restoration, preventing backaches, and to provide amino acids
1 part Cinnamon -- uterine toner and miscarriage preventive
Put 1/4 C of tea blend in a quart jar, fill with boing water, place lid on jar and steep for at least one hour. Sweeten with natural sweeteners as desired.
For one gallon: Add 1 C of tea blend to a gallon jar and proceed as above.
This tea is great hot or cold (even iced).
For best results, drink one quart per day throughout your pregnancy.
